We are located in Altamura, known as the Murgia upholstered furniture district, thanks to the passion and diligence of its people who have always worked with dedication.
It was here, in 1956, that our artisan manufacturing company was founded, thanks to the determination of our grandfather Rocco, who in a short time managed to give it a distinctive mark, making it known for the highest quality of its sofas. Over time, Maxdivani has grown hand in hand with its production. Thanks to the perseverance and foresight of grandfather Rocco and his sons, the passion and courage of all its employees, our company has achieved greater and greater success, moving towards a strong international recognition.
But it was with our father figure that Mimmo Maxdivani became the reality we know today. A personality whose work was centered on human relationships and whose main goal was product quality. A goal that we want to achieve together every day – as a group, as a team… as a family. The excellence we have achieved today is the result of the joint work of an enthusiastic team of people and a network of partners that reflect our values. Our daily goal is to spread and make accessible the truly artisanal design and the authentic originality of sofas made in Italy. Because for us, design is not just an extreme form of planning as an end in itself, but part of a concept of comfort that we will seek when sitting on the sofa.
